Mailing Service We Use as Full-Time RVers

Getting a New Legal Street Address and Tour of St. Brendan's Isle Mail Service Green Cove Springs, FL.

When we decided to Full-time RV, we searched to see how people were handling their personal mail. Since we were also leaving the retiree “unfriendly state” of Wisconsin, this became a very complex question because we would also be relocating our legal domicile. Some states are more RV friendly than others when it comes to: income taxes, vehicle use taxes, sales tax, absentee voting laws, jury duty requirements, vehicle inspection requirements, license plate renewal procedures, drivers license renewal procedures, RV and vehicle insurance rates, healthcare plans accepted and available in each state, ………the list goes on and on.

We relied heavily on a handful of RV Vlogger’s experience that we have come to trust. Come with us as we drive to what we thought was our mail address, ….only to have to drive to a completely different address, that was significantly “less quaint”. Once inside this more “industrial” location, it was very clean, professional, and looked very efficient.

Extremely Helpful

St. Brendan’s Isle mail service provided TONS of forms and help for us to move our legal address, get the service up and running, helped us with drivers license DMV forms, voter registration forms, etc. Honestly, they couldn’t have been more helpful.

Easy to Use

You will love how easy the website interface is! Each day that you get mail, you will get a scan of the outside of the item sent to you in email. After viewing this, you have a number of selection options on how to react to this new mail.

HOLD, for later physical delivery? OPEN and SCAN so you can see what’s in the mail the next day? SHRED the junk mail? Or SEND, when you need something sent quick, or when you have finally arrived in one spot for a while to get your mail. They have always delivered the mail to us at whatever address we give them ON TIME. This is a 5 star company!

Check out our mailing service video we made in 2018 on our YouTube channel.

Tell them #12632 sent you! That’s OUR personal mailbox number.  It will cost you nothing, and save you nothing.  What it WILL DO is reward Sue & Mark with one free month of mail service for our efforts!  What are friends for?!

  1. Hello Sue and Mark,
I am retiring next month and my husband and I are looking forward to going full time RVing. I came across your videos just this week and am trying to find the answers to some questions on establishing a domicile address. Since you chose Florida as yours, do you have to have actual property as a physical address other than the mail service or is the mail service sufficient?

thank you so much and I look forward to watching more of your videos.

    1. We use Saint Brendan’s Isle Mail Forwarding Service. When you join them, part of the perks is a blog with documents, tips and forms to help with establishing your FL drivers license and domicile in Florida. See https://www.sbimailservice.com/rv-special/ We followed a YT Channel called Technomadia, and did what they did to get started! See: https://www.technomadia.com/2012/07/chapter-9-nomadic-logistics-domicile-mail-taxes-banking-and-voting/ You do not need property in a state to establish domiclie. If you DO have property in one state, that could complicate things if you are going to say you live in another state. You will have to dive into further research. Some states will still consider you a resident if you still have a storage unit full of stuff. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Good luck Laurie & George, and well come to RVing!

  2. Hi Mark & Sue!
My husband Harry and I love watching your videos! You have taught us so much and added the right amount of humor to keep us coming back for more! We can’t wait to see what’s next

  3. This is Sue… Thanks for the kind words, Bill… and thanks for our first post comment!! I feel like we should give you a prize! A ChanMan hat prize would be cool… But we don’t have them and don’t want to inflate Mark’s head too much 🙂 Or do we…… ? Thanks again!!

  4. All right I get to be the first one to post a comment, Mark & Sue I was looking through your new website which Sue has done a very awesome job ,oh and you too Mark. I was kind a hoping you would come out with a hat that says the chanman. And I only use the best hairdryer ect….. I’ve enjoyed all of your videos more so than others. Some videos that you could relate to having teenagers camping with you that doesn’t work for the empty-nesters. Anyway I want to congratulate you on your new website and keep up the great work really do appreciate your videos. Yours truly,Bill. 2021 Jan,5
