Cummins Higher Emission Recall CAMPAIGN

A Program That Will Expire in 02-22-2024.

THE CUMMINS ISC & ISL CM2250 365HP & HIGHER EMISSION RECALL CAMPAIGN C2112 & C2113 SCR REPLACEMENT IS A PROGRAM THAT WILL EXPIRE IN 02-22-2024.

All diesel owners should check and make certain whether or not their engine is affected by it. This expensive emissions repair is fully covered by Cummins during the campaign period. The part numbers on the affected units need to be verified by Cummins before your claim and replacement appointment can be made.

What's the Campaign / Understand How Your Diesel Emission System Works

Cummins Engine has instituted a voluntary recall “campaign” of roughly 500,000 model-year 2010-2015 engines, according to detailed information from the United States EPA. The recall “campaign” involves faulty emissions systems components that cause the engines to fall out of compliance with federal emissions regulations as the SCR slowly degrades.

  1. I am just learning about the Cummins SCR recall. My 2012 Newmar Essex motorhome has been plagued with CHECK ENGINE light problems since I bought it in 2021. My coach was taken to Cummins South Atlanta in 2022 for a CHECK ENGINE light with code SPN 4364 FMI 18 and they replace the NOX sensor at a cost of nearly $2000. I suspect that Cummins people knew there was a recall on the SCR but also knew that I was unaware of that recall. Thereafter, I proceeded to have numerous reoccurrences of the same issue along with a STOP ENGINE light. After doing a lot of digging, I finally found out about the recall and now Cummins is coming out to apparently get the part number and determine whether they will pay for the repair. It also pays to be a Cummins stockholder and go through the investor relations website to make sure corporate headquarters is aware of how customers are being treated or mistreated by their service centers.

  2. I had the DEF SCR replaced under the recall campaign at CUMMINS in Ocala, FL about a month ago. Great fast, efficient and friendly service. Dropped the coach off on Friday and had it back by Tuesday. Would highly recommend CUMMINS of Ocala, FL.
