Meet Your Harvest Hosts

Robin and James are the co-owners of this multi-faceted operation. Robin, Mammaw, runs the Kitchen & Bar, and James keeps the buildings, maintenance and Horse Boarding/Carriage ride operation in ship shape.

Awesome Home-Cooked Food and Venue

They have a home-cooked sytle indoor restaurant and cowboy cooking outdoor venue to offer for guests up to approximately 55 seats. The historical barn is an event venue and can host up to 100 seating for dinner. Both can be reserved for gatherings, weddings, family reunions, CAMPERS GET-TOGETHERS (RALLIES!), you name it!

Carriage Rides and More!

They are also a horse/motel registered on affiliate pages to welcome a resting place for tired “traveling horses” for the horse community of America.

If you call in advance you can book horse carriage rides on various days.

Order to Go!!

You can order “traveling prepared food” for lunches and dinners on the road after you leave them like we did! Their pot roast and meat loaf dinners were the best thing that happened to us at our next stop!

Mammaw’s has over 35 pie selections that you can order prior to your arrival, or when you get there for pickup the very next morning. They have cobblers, pies, cheese cakes and pound cakes galore!  We got lucky and ordered it in the afternoon, but it was ready for us during our dinner in the bar listening to the evening entertainment!

A Harvest Host That's Great for Big Rigs

When we arrived we were immediately greeted by James.  He explained all the options we had for parking. We chose to stay on the old packed gravel restaurant parking area, as far to one side as possible to not screw up the restaurant parking.

The Harvest Host site lists that they can accommodate 10 rigs, and can go as long as 45 feet PLUS.  They offer 50 amp electric hookups for a small fee.  The parking in back is on grass, and is for smaller rigs.  Most of the electric hookups are along the main gravel roadway leading to the back grass parking area.

Convenient Hours

The hours of operation of the restaurant and bar are absolutely perfect for an RVer!  Many locations either open too late or close too early.  Not this place! Plus, get there on a Friday and you may get to enjoy live music!
