Florida RV SuperShow – Biggest and the Best!

One of the Best Places To Start Looking For Your RV!

Million dollar plus Luxury Prevost motorhome.

Could this cozy Class A Motorhome camper from Millennium Luxury Coaches be in your future?

Very few of us will be driving around in one of these beauties!  If you do end up being a member of the Prevost Owners Group, I tip my hat to you!  All RVers should attend the Florida RV SuperShow at least once to be able to tour the 1400 rigs on display! Sue & I attended the 2020 Florida RV SuperShow with media credentials the entire run of 5 days!

The thing to always keep in mind is we ALL end up going to see the same places!  We will most likely be doing many of the same things. The RV Industry Association has manufactures making rigs to satisfy EVERY taste and pocket book. You will see everything that is currently being built!

Bumper pull tow behind travel trailers. Fifth wheel trailers. Class A Motorhomes. Class B campers as well as Class C and Super C Motorhomes.

In our “Cost to RV” videos, Sue & I try to impress upon folks how important it is to try to nail your equipment selection correctly the first time. Basically, you should attempt to “Buy Your Last RV First”.  Change the “RV You Buy” as few times as possible throughout your RVing career!

Remember, you will experience the dreaded “Depreciation Bath” every time you purchase and sell an RV. This is ESPECIALLY painful when you have boughten it new.  Many folks are constantly upgrading every year or two. Your loan officers will be more than happy to keep your payments the same!! Gulp!!

Do your homework MONTHS BEFORE you attend the Florida RV SuperShow to shop for your RV!

In our “Cost to RV” videos, Sue & I try to impress upon folks how important it is to try to nail your equipment selection correctly the first time. Basically, you should attempt to “Buy Your Last RV First”.  Another way to say this would be: “Change your mind and RV as few times as possible during your RVing career!”

You will experience the dreaded “Depreciation Bath” every time you purchase and sell an RV, ESPECIALLY when you have boughten it new.  Many folks are constantly upgrading every year or two, and your loan officers will be more than happy to keep your payments the same! There is a red flag right there!

Starting the RV Shopping and Research process!

Once you know your budget, you need to come in agreement with your travel partner what is important. What are MUST HAVES?  What are IT WOULD BE NICE options? Try to agree on what each of you could compromises on.  Guys, let your travel partner make the call on the washer & dryer decision!

Study what level of quality and reputation you are willing to pay for. Visit the online user groups and forums for the brand and models you may be looking at.

I suggest to IMMEDIATELY visit and become familiar with the irv2.com website. Learn to use the “search function magnifying glass” on the site. This is because 90% of the time the answer to your question is already there! It’s FREE to sign up to be a member. This will then allow you to post questions that may be UNIQUE.

This AWESOME resource is made up entirely of RV users.  If  bad things are being uploaded online about a rig or company you are considering, steer clear of it. DO NOT expect your experiences to be any different than the large sample of people already living with the issues.

The BEST and MOST LOGICAL way to find your perfect RV the first time around is to attend the Florida RV SuperShow!

Visit LOTS of RV dealers and attending LOTS of RV Shows. This will help you to narrow down what you like and dislike. Doing this can truly be a fun and magically time if your not in a hurry. If you find something you really like, sit in it for HOURS.  Pretend you own it and are living in it.

Come back to the RV lot a few times.  Take your time. You can do this because the money is still in YOUR WALLET. If you are feeling pressure from a dealer, it is your CLUE that they are not someone to “buy” from. Just look there, sit in their rigs, make your decisions, and buy it from a more highly regarded dealer!

If you shop long enough, you will end up in a rig completely different than what you started out looking at! This is good. It means you have eliminated at least one ownership iteration. This is one less “Depreciation Bath” over your RVing career lifetime! You just saved a TON of money!

The Florida RV SuperShow is the Holy Grail of RV shopping the smart & easy way!

The ABSOLUTE BEST WAY to find your perfect RV is to attend one of the two largest RV show exhibition events.  One is the Hershey Pennsylvania RV Show in September of each year.  The other is the Tampa Florida RV SuperShow in January of each year.

The 52nd Annual America’s Largest RV Show® is set for September 15-19, 2021 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. With more than 1,400 RVs on display, this show is THE place to shop and compare RVs.

The Florida RV SuperShow is scheduled for January 19-23 2022 and is equally as large. It all takes place on the Tampa Florida State Fairgrounds. NOTHING beats having everything that is currently available all in one place!  You can tour all of your “final favorites” one after another all in the same couple of days.

Sue & I attended the 2017, 2018 & 2020 shows. We published (5) 2020 Florida RV SuperShow episodes on our Youtube Channel. We show what it’s like to attend this fantastic show. Check it out and see if going to one of these “MUST SEE” shows is for you!

    1. The 2021 Florida RV SuperShow is in process as we speak! The first day without the public is called “Industry Day”. That special day was canceled but not the remaining days for the public. We decided to skip this show this year, and plan to be their next year!

  1. Found possible typo

“Do your homework” section, 2nd paragraph, 2nd word. Think you want “will”, not “we”.

Love the YouTube channel, loving website. Even got my wife watching.

Considering buying a rv upon retirement in next 3-5 years.

Kudos, keep up the great work.
