Playing It Safe… Stay Off the Roof
Now not all of us are comfortable with hooking up the five wires that require a basic understanding and respect for electricity.
And for myself, the issue was my age and physical prowess. I have none!
The thought of climbing up on a possibly slippery and hot roof stopped me in my tracks, and I never could get past that. Working on my 71 year old knees, hunched over during the installation was just not something I was willing to endure. And my roof top has 1200 watts of solar, so there is limit places to be stepping and walking. You need to be sure footed, and have great balance up there. I am out.
